Babydan Playpen and Safety Guard
Babydan Playpen and Safety Guard
A larger playpen suitable for twins and triplets. BabyDen is an award winning, multi-functional set of 5 panels and 1 gate panel that can be used as a playpen, room divider, safety gate and fire guard. Keep your twin babies (or triplets) and toddlers safe from all sorts of indoor hazards (can also be used outdoors).
PLAYPEN
Provides a large hexagonal play area (approx. 1 metre square), suitable for twin babies and toddlers. Complete with comfy washable padded mat and a gate to give you easy access and helps prevent adult back injuries when lifting children up. A comfortable and safe place to leave your twins. triplets or young siblings for a while although babies and young children should never be left unsupervised.
The Babydan Playpen also has a number of additional practical uses, which is always a bonus for parents of multiples
SAFETY GATE
The gate panel can be used on its own as a centre-opening hinged safety gate for a gap of 68cm. The gate needs attaching using a wallplate (wall mountings not included but free fittings available by calling Babydan on Phone 01704 898 110)
ROOM DIVIDER
Two or more panels can be used to form a room divider or enclose a play area (all six panels connected span a width of 3.7m). A great solution to keep your twins messing to a minimum
FIREGUARD
Adults understand that the beauty of a flickering flame hides a very real danger. Children dont. Dont put children at risk. Get a fireguard. Babyden can do this job too
It is easy to erect, completely foldable and no tools are required. Consists of 6 x 60 cm panels (one gate opening) interlocking on a hinge system to provide maximum flexibility should you use the Baby Den as a room divider, stair gate or hearth gate.
A brilliant, flexible and practical solution to keep your twins, triplets and toddlers safe and to contain all the multiples mess too
After finding out I was having twins and starting to buy things the reality of how expensive my 2 bundles of joy would be sank in. Double pram. 2 car seats. 2 of everything not to mention the fact I was having a boy and a girl so I had to buy pink and blue clothes too
When they started to become active I looked everywhere for a twin playpen but to no avail. Then I spotted the Babydan Babyden in a catalogue and going by the sizes when it was in playpen form I knew it would be big enough.
The twins had great fun rolling around in it and also learned to pull themselves up on the bars. Now they are 14 months old and walking everywhere I have attached it to the walls and have got it as a room divide. They have their own little room now within our living room away from the temptation of plugs. tvs. fires etc.
I thought they would cry the first time I closed the gate but instead they actually cry when I try and take them out.
I would reccommend this to any parent and having experience of a multiple birth by the time you price up getting 2 playpens the Babyden is actually very reasonable and the joy of watching my babies play together in safety is priceless. Lou Shell - Oct 21 2006
As mum to six boys I have always found playpens very useful. This one. however. is the best weve had. It came more or less assembled in a concertina effect. It took us a couple of minutes to put it together and then our 8 month old was let loose. It has a large area for play so they wont feel hemmed in. As mum to twins I would say there would be plenty of room for two babies in there unlike most others on the market. The floor cover is quite well padded although could maybe do with being a bit thicker. but it is adequate. I liked the idea that when he has grown out of the playpen aspect we can buy the tent cover and turn it into a playhouse to extend the use. One thing if you are short on space you might find it a bit big. but other than that its great.

The Babydan Babyden is a big playpen / fireguard / room divider.
It comprises of six panels with fix together in various ways to suit the situation. I use it at home as a playpen. I am taking it on holiday for a fire guard and I got one for our toddler group as a room divider to keep babies away from their siblings in cars
The panels fix together at any angle you choose. they just get held in place with a pole. It is very easy to put together. no tools at all. I can put it up in under five minutes (with babies and toddlers crawling around my ankles). It has wall mountings as well.
The playpen is free standing. its obvious use is as a hexagon but I used mine as a rectangle to fit it in a narrower space.
I got the babyden for my first baby to play in before our house was protected from little fingers But in the end I used to sit in it to read or do any paperwork that I didnt want her to get.
I recently got it out for our second baby but my older child likes to go in it to hide her toys from her baby sister and they are both happy with that so I am too.
Also. you can get two to fix together if necessary to make a bigger playpen which I have considered for our toddler group.
When the kids grow out of it there is a tent attachment you can get to give it a much longer life They then love to play in it again. It turns it into a wendy house.
When my baby was tiny at Christmas we actually put the christmas tree inside it to stop the baby getting to the tree and the presents
I know a lot of parents dont like the idea of playpens but it really has served a purpose in our house.
It easily folds away to store. I keep the one from toddler group in the box but it has torn already but we are not here to rate the cardboard boxes Kaz - May 12th 2006
