Maclaren Twin Major Special Needs Pushchair
Suitable for families where one older child has special needs but they also need to transport a younger sibling. Mainsteam and special schools as well as other carers and organisations have also found this twin stroller useful where they need to accomodate a range of ages and disabilities.
A strong, lighweight umbrella-folding twin stroller which has been tested to 25kg in each seat, this is recommended for children up to the age of 10 years. The double buggy is easily folded, transported and stored and comes complete with five point harnesses, swivel wheels and two adjustable solid footrests (these cannot be fitted at the same height but both can be fitted at one of three different levels).
Please note that the ages given are for guidance only using NHS average height and weight statistics. Large children may out grow it before 12 years old or it may last much longer for smaller framed children.
VAT Relief
This product is eligible for VAT Relief where it is supplied for a specific child with a disability. The Major Twin Pushchair can be purchased VAT Free if the purchaser provides a declaration of eligibility for VAT Relief within 30 days(please contact us for the relevant form):
- an Individual (normally a parent) purchasing for use by a disabled child
- a Charity purchasing for use by a disabled child
