Double the Fun this Summer for Multiple Birth Families
Families with twins. triplets or more are set for massive savings this summer as some of the country’s top attractions throw open their doors at reduced rates. Tamba, the Twins and Multiple Births Association, will be holding a number of exclusive days out and events during this year with venues including a Summer Picnic at Sherwood School, Basingstoke and Whipsnade Zoo Family Fun Day in November. For a great day out with other families of twins. triplets or more, now is the time to join Tamba.” Check out www.tamba.org.uk for details.
 
Promoting Greater Understanding of the Unique Needs of Multiple Birth Families.
TwinsUK is dedicated to providing information, parenting advice and specialist products to families with twins, triplets or more. We support Tamba through dissemination of information about their organisation and by offering members the opportunity to make a small charitable donation which is shared between Tamba and BLISS. the Premature Baby Charity.
 
The Twins and Multiple Births Association (TAMBA) was established in 1978 to provide information and support for multiple birth families and also promote awareness of the practical. financial and emotional issues facing families with two or more children of the same age.
 
It has specialist support groups for one-parent families. parents of triplets or more. special needs families. those who have lost one or more of a multiple-birth set. and parents who are expecting or have twins. triplets or more as a result of fertility treatment.
 
Tamba has a confidential listening support and information service. TAMBA Twinline. on 0800 138 0509 open 7pm-10pm weekdays and 10am-10pm weekends.
