TwinsUK Founder Wins Entrepreneur of the Year


Delyth Raffell. Founder of TwinsUK was announced as the Winner of the award for Best Newcomer at the prestigious North East Woman Entrepreneur of the Year Awards held at The Sage on November 16th 2007. It was a glamourous evening with 700 people attending to celebrate woman's business achievements and was hosted by Women into the Network (WIN) and compered by Julia Hankin of BBC Radio Newcastle.
Delyth. who founded TwinsUK after the birth of her twin girls in October 2005 attended the awards ceremony with her husband. Graham. along with friends and family and was pleased to be joined by guests Avril Deane. PR Manager for Tommee Tippee and Sandra Bosman. Multiples-specialist midwife at the Royal Victoria Infirmary. Newcastle and Winner of the National Midwife of the Year Award 2007 and Regional Midwife of the Year for the last two years.
The overall winner of the coveted North East Woman Entrepreneur of the Year 2007 - Susan Dobson Award for Entrepreneurship was Nickie Gott of She's Gott It! Ltd. a Durham based company that focuses on the origination. delivery and management of events. marketing strategy. PR and training. Well Done Nickie - you've certainly got it!

The North East Woman Entrepreneur of the Year Awards were established in 1999 by Women Into the Network. These North East business awards:
